AUGUST 2020
When the farm show ends, the reminiscing begins. The people we saw. The lessons we learned. So much to do and never enough time to do it all. But wait! You can continue experiencing the farm show.
With the virtual nature of the UMASH Online Expo: A 20/20 Look at Ag Health, Safety, and Wellness, you can relive the glory days all over again. Hosted from August 11-13, the Expo included exhibitor booths, all-day presentations, and safety demos. These are now housed on our website through the end of November.
With 45 exhibitor booths, you can find answers to your most pressing questions. Looking for Spanish resources? Check out the Recursos de Habla Hispana exhibitor booth! Mental health and stress resources? Check out these exhibitor booths: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Lake Superior Community Health Center, the Department of Agriculture – Coping with Farm & Rural Stress, Minnesota National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and UMASH.
Head on over to the presentations and safety demos. Over 30 presentations cover topics such as health and safety for immigrant farmworkers, mental health, and stroke awareness. Safety demos focus on grain bins and machinery, power take-offs (PTOs), livestock safety, agricultural injuries, and ATV/UTV safety for youth and adults.
Check out all of these engaging resources for free! Now through the end of November.
