Farmers are at very high risk for fatal and nonfatal injuries; and farming is one of the few industries in which family members (who often share the work and live on the premises) are also at risk for fatal and nonfatal injuries.

Minnesota Farmfest

UMASH brought the Safety Demonstration Pavilion back to the attendees of Minnesota Farmfest to provide up to date safety and health information for farmers, farm workers and their families in an effort to prevent and/or reduce injuries and illness on farms. Roll up your sleeve on August 4th for free COVID-19 vaccinations, provided by the Minnesota Dept. of Health.

Farmfest was offering a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic!

Minnesota Farmfest partnered with Minnesota Department of Health to bring a 1-day vaccine clinic to Farmfest this year. The mobile vaccine clinic was set up at Farmfest on Wednesday, August 4, during show hours 8 AM-4 PM. Vaccinations took place inside the metro mobility bus on the show grounds.

  • 8:00 AM

  • 9:00 AM:
    Grain Bin, ATV, tractor (45 minutes)
  • 11:00 AM:
    Grain Bin, ATV, tractor (45 minutes)
  • 1:00 PM:
    Push Pedal Pull
  • 2:00 PM:
    Grain Bin, ATV, tractor, PTO (1 hour)
  • 4:00 PM:
    Show closes
