UMASH was well represented at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, August 30-September 1, 2016. We were part of a large contingent of Health and Safety groups working together in a large tent sponsored by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Grain bin rescue demonstrations throughout the day brought visitors to the tent.

Diane Kampa and Ruth Rasmussen represented UMASH with resources and an engaging prize wheel. Participants from Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, and other states learned something new about staying safe on the farm and were rewarded with a ‘Get a Grip on Safety’ jar opener.
