The national Women in Sustainable Ag (WISA) conference, hosted by Midwest Organic and Sustainability Education Service (MOSES), was held in Saint Paul, MN. This year’s conference was organized to provide the chance to: cultivate connections, friendships, and support; nourish skills and strengths; grow! From October 17-19, attendees had the opportunity to go on tours, participate in hands-on workshops, hear from speakers in agriculture and food, and connect with each other.
UMASH’s Megan Schossow attended October 17. After hearing from keynote Miah Ulysse, attending breakout sessions and a networking lunch, Schossow gave a speed talk presentation in PechaKucha (15 slides/ 15 seconds) format. She highlighted the work UMASH has done in stress and mental health and invited attendees to join in and utilize the work of the partners.
