Farming is one of the most physically dangerous occupations.
According to 2017 CDC data, the agriculture industry sees more than 20 deaths per 100,000 workers each year, resulting from work related incidents. It is also mentally and emotionally challenging where economic, social and environmental factors confront farm and rural communities. To help, UMASH has compiled various resources for issues related to both physical and mental health and safety.
