A Train the Trainer webinar, this presentation is designed to assist employers and rural health & safety professionals and educators participate in the National Stand-up for Grain Safety Week March 25-29, 2019.
Webinar attendees can encourage participation in the Stand-up by passing on information, resources, and free training opportunities to employees, producers, and others affected by agricultural hazards. Dr. Aherin will provide key information about each of the week’s focus topics, their effects on agricultural operations and resources available for training and information.
The 4 topic areas of Grain Safety Week are:
- entrapment/engulfment prevention
- fall hazards & prevention including ladder safety
- Lock out /Tag out
- Machine Guarding.
