Summary:

The majority of emerging infectious diseases in U.S. are zoonotic in nature. They are often difficult to determine as many go unreported for a variety of reasons. This program will address some of the major zoonotic diseases found in the agricultural workplace and provide a list up to date educational resources.

At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Define zoonotic disease and identify various modes of transmission
• Identify a minimum of four significant zoonotic diseases affecting the production agricultural population
• Discuss warning signs and symptoms of major zoonotic diseases
