Promoting Health and Well-being in the Immigrant Workforce in Agriculture
Immigrant workers make up about a third of the hired labor force in agriculture and are critical to the success of this industry in the Upper Midwest. Please join us for a discussion of the role of immigrant workers in a changing agriculture industry in the Upper Midwest and the importance of, and opportunities and challenges in ensuring their health and well-being.
This event builds on the 2014 Finding Common Ground workshop “The Changing Agriculture Workforce” with a focus on the health and well-being of the immigrant workforce in agriculture.
