Planting Safety, Growing Wellness

March 3-7, 2025

American Farm Bureau Federation’s Ag Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) Week was created to bring awareness to safety and health issues facing the agriculture industry. Farm Bureau and the U.S. Agricultural Safety and Health Centers are working together to help keep agricultural communities safe and healthy by encouraging farmers and ranchers to keep safety top-of-mind with this year’s theme: “Planting Safely, Growing Wellness.”

DAILY THEMES

The overall theme for the week is “Planting Safety, Growing Wellness”.  Each day of the week will highlight a different safety focus that impacts rural farms, families and communities.

Monday: Creating Safety Leaders on the Farm
Tuesday: Farmer Stress
Wednesday: Disaster Preparedness
Thursday: Health and Wellness in Ag
Friday: Grain Bin Safety

U.S. Agricultural Safety and Health Centers

Each year, the U.S. Ag Centers partner with the American Farm Bureau Federation to help share resources and farm safety information during ASAP Week.

Visit the Centers’ YouTube channel for new content and fresh ideas about how to stay safe while working in agriculture, forestry, and fishing. Join the movement to keep farms safe and share your own safety messages on social media using the hashtags #ASAP25 and #USAgCenters.

The 12 U.S. Agricultural Safety and Health Centers are funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
