Don’t work for recognition, but do work worthy of recognition.

The Health Promotion Practice Journal has recognized one of our own – Applying Learning Theory to Safety and Health Training for Hispanic Immigrant Dairy Workers.
This paper published in English and Spanish was awarded the HPP paper of the year in 2018. Now it’s on the journal’s Top 10 Papers list. The paper features results from “Seguridad en las Lecherías: Immigrant Dairy Worker Health and Safety,” a comprehensive occupational safety and health intervention for immigrant dairy workers, implemented by the National Farm Medicine Center and Migrant Clinicians Network as part of the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center, a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health–funded effort. The project reached nearly 70 farms and over 850 immigrant workers with culturally relevant training.
